Andy Carter and the Lucas Oil team once again have a very busy month ahead of them. In two weeks time the Lucas Oil Top Fuel dragster will be on display at the UK Truck Show at Santa Pod Raceway (June 28th - June 29th). Lucas Oil founder Forrest Lucas was a truck driver for and the owner of a long haul trucking fleet for 20 years prior to establishing his company with the simple philosophy of producing only the best line of lubricants and additives available anywhere. It's with great honour that we will be representing Forest and his fantastic range of products to the fans of UK truck racing.

This coming weekend the team will again be at Santa Pod and will display the 8000bhp Top Fuel dragster to the fans of the rapidly growing Jap scene. The Jap Show (22nd June) will combine RWYB, the HKS Drag Series, drifting and car show. If you will be attending either show be sure to stop by and say hello to the crew who will be more than happy to talk to you about Lucas Oil and Top Fuel drag racing.

In July the Lucas Oil / Carter Motorsport / Andersen Racing team get back on the championship trail as they travel to Finland for the second round of the 2008 FIA Top Fuel championship (3rd July - 6th July). After a wet Main Event stopped the team in their tracks everyone in the camp is eager to continue where we left off. Andy Carter said "Not being able to build on our number one qualifying position at the Main Event was very disappointing. But, we left Santa Pod number one in the points and we will be putting up a fight in Finland to make sure we hold onto that spot."
