Carter to appear at the British Motorshow, ExCeL, London
23 July - 3 August

Carter Motorport are delighted to announce that the Lucas Oil Top Fuel Dragster will be on display at the British Motorshow.
This is a major motoring event and will feature over 600 cars from the biggest names in motoring and motorsport. The show will include over 20 global premiers from the likes of Nissan, Ford and Bentley as well as features to include the Heritage Enclosure, Motorshow Music Festival and Disney/Pixar World of CARS to name but a few!

The dragster will form part of the Santa Pod display and will be inside the hall.

'As part of our commitment to our main sponsor Lucas Oil, we are constantly looking for new platforms on which we can raise brand awareness for their quality range of products. This is a massive event and we're delighted and proud to once again, be representing the sport of Drag Racing. We would like to thank Santa Pod Raceway for inviting us to be a part of this show and look forward to welcoming our fans and new guests onto the stand. We'll be giving out the team hero card/Lucas Oil literature and also promoting the forthcoming book; Andy Carter, King of Europe.' said Andy Carter.

It will be a very busy period for the team as Andy will be contesting the Swedish round of the FIA European Championship tour during the show. Following a disappointing outcome in Finland, the team will be looking to go rounds and pick up maximum points as we draw closer to the business end of the season.

'I was delighted to set a new track record and qualify number one for the forth FIA event in a row in Finland. However, this means very little if you don't go on to win rounds and the event. In Sweden we'll be doing all we can to put this right as we press on for my third title. I'm delighted to hold track records now at 4 major tracks including Santa Pod, but for me, the record I really want is 3 FIA European Top Fuel titles. With the car, crew and major sponsorship we have, it's really there for us to grab with both hands. The competition is going to be tough with so many great competitors now in European Top Fuel but I didn't get to be the highest FIA Top Fuel points earner and set all those records by chance, we're ready for strong finish to this years championship.'
