Two days of rain have delayed the start of the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 49th annual Kragen O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, California but on Saturday the sun came out and Andy Carter fulfilled a life long dream by qualifying for an NHRA event. Carter was part of the second pair alongside Sean Langdon. A great looking 4.020 saw Cater take the number 13 spot! However the days action was shortlived as the rain returned and the field was set before there was time for a second qualifier. Carter will face Brandon Bernstein in the first round of racing on Sunday.
